Our programs empower residents and visitors to Antigua with water safety knowledge and basic swim and lifesaving skills.
If you have a fear of the water and want to learn to overcome the fear and begin to feel comfortable in the water then our programs are right for you.
WORLD'S LARGEST SWIM LESSON
The World’s Largest Swimming Lesson™ (WLSL) is created by the World Waterpark Association.
The WLSL event serves as a platform to help the global aquatics industry work together to build awareness about the fundamental importance of teaching children to swim to prevent drowning.
Research shows the risk of drowning can be reduced by 88 per cent if children participate in formal swimming lessons between the ages of 1-4.
Water Safety Antigua will be participating in the 2021 World's Largest Swimming Lesson™ to be held on Thursday, June 17th.
We'll have support from the Wadadli Aquatic Racers Swim Club and the Ministry of Tourism National Lifeguards.

ADULT SWIM SESSIONS
Learn to swim, and the water safety skills to use to be safe in and around the water.
Each private class is 30 minutes, and is tailored to the individuals competency level.
First-come first-serve basis.
Karin loves working with people. She loves helping people work through their fears and dislikes of the water, just to see them get a little more comfortable, and even enjoy the water.
She has been teaching for over 12 years, and has worked with toddlers as young as under 2 years old, up to 65+, and enjoys all of it.
Karin’s love for teaching swimming stemmed from her being a national athlete. She has represented Antigua & Barbuda at the regional and international level, culminating with the Olympic Games in London 2012.
She was a pilot swim instructor for our local Grass Roots School Swim program. She has worked with amazing trailblazers in the swimming and water safety community such as Afroswimmers and Fish & Fins Aquatics. She was a guest swim instructor at Fish & Fins summer camp in Montserrat and Barbuda 2018 & 2019 respectively.
She continues to teach swimming and to advocate for water safety, thus birthing her brainchild; Water Safety Antigua.
